Tom and Nancy are both 40 years old and they have two boys Matthew (4^th grade) and Tommy (8^th grade). Tom was diagnosed with rectal cancer in the fall. He underwent oral chemo and radiation for 2 ½ months and then had surgery at the end of January to remove the tumor. At that time they found that the cancer had spread to his liver. He had a scan a few weeks ago just prior to the beginning of his intense chemo therapy and they found cancer in his lungs. He and Nancy have a very strong faith. They belong to a Church of God in Dearborn. Nancy and I have done several Bible studies together. The boys have been studied the Bible since grade school and I pray that they find comfort and peace in their relationship with Jesus. Tom has an extremely positive attitude and I know that God will heal him completely and we will give all of the glory and praise to God.

Hi ,

I am asking for prayers for the daughter of my good friend Debbie. Her daughter's name is Erin and on Friday, May 9 she turns 18. The problem is that Erin has had over the last 2 or 3 weeks debilitating headaches. They last for 2-3 days at a time and during that time she can not eat or function in any way. During one of the headaches she said that it felt like the left side of her brain went numb and that when she could feel blood going through her brain again it felt like it was ice cold. She will be going to a clinic that specializes in headaches on May 16. I would really appreciate if you would add her to your prayer list, she is a truly wonderful young lady.

Tom's 4 year old granddaughter has been living with his ex-wife since she was a baby. His ex has been trying to legally adopt her, but now her mom has reappeared and wants custody. His ex-wife's lawyer said things don't look good right now and his granddaughter may have to go live with her mom (who has never held a job, lives like a nomad and has been (still is?) a meth addict). He is very worried.
